Managing Director of Fuel Communications
Martyn King is Managing Director at brand communications agency Fuel. He co-founded the company in 2008 and has played a significant role in its rapid growth to become a leading agency with offices in Plymouth and London.
Fuel advises leading regional brands including St Mellion International Resort, Foot Anstey, St Luke's Hospice and City College Plymouth together international brands such as Siemens, HSBC and Thoughtful Media Group.
Brand founder and owner of Kineta Matcha Tea. Kineta is an Organic Ceremonial Grade Matcha Green Tea imported from a small family run Japanese green tea farm.
Lecturer in Event Management, University of Plymouth
Richard Parkman is currently a lecturer in Leadership and Event Management at Plymouth University where he has worked since 2004. He has been involved in the development of the BSc Event Management and Hospitality Management programmes since 2008. Richard is also the Programme Manager for the BSc Tourism and Hospitality programmes in Partnership with Hong Kong University School of Professional and Continuing Education. Richard has worked and been connected with the hospitality and events industry for over 25 years having worked with organisations such British Airways, Whitbread and Mitchells and Butler. Richard is extremely pleased to be invited once again to be involved with the Judging Panel for the SWWA 2016.
